For over three decades, Steve has focused on helping his clients navigate through dynamic financial situations and assisting them with the accumulation, preservation, and transference of wealth. Steve co-founded Trinity Capital Management in 2011 to offer unbiased and objective investment advice as an independent advisor. Steve utilizes an advisory-based investment approach to custom-design investment strategies in order to help clients accomplish their long-term investment goals and objectives. Risk management is a key element of Steve and Trinity Capital Management’s approach to managing portfolios.

Steve combines discipline, diligent research, consistent communication and compassion to help his clients achieve their desired life goals. He believes in using a team approach to provide personalized financial advice for individuals, wealthy families, private foundations, trusts, and corporate retirement plans. Steve will help foster a holistic approach to the issues that concern you by understanding where you are in your state of life and developing a plan designed to fit your particular situation and future goals.

A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Steve earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1977. He became a Certified Public Accountant in Texas in 1981 and still maintains his CPA certification although he does not currently practice accounting. Steve began his career in the investment business in 1983. Away from the office, Steve enjoys playing golf, physical fitness, teaching bible studies, and traveling with his wife, Claire. He is an active member of Sylvania Church in Tyler and enjoys serving on boards of not-for-profit foundations from time to time.

"I view my role as a financial advisor more as a vocation than an occupation. I love what I do and get great gratification out of helping people with all of their financial needs. Many of my clients have become personal friends over the years which makes my job even more enjoyable because of the time I get to spend with them."
